Ode to Motherland No.6
Fiber Glass Reinforced Resin and Copper Plate and Brass Wire, 58 x 45 x 90 cm
About the artwork
Contorting his body into a deep kneeling bow, the warrior's knees are firmly locked together, the tips of his fingers and toes barely pressed against the ground. Ode to Motherland No. 6 signifies humility, respect and possibly worship, as the warrior casts aside his honor and succumbs to a meek and deferential position.
